Your Costco Appliance is almost on its way!

Costco has partnered with MasterPro to provide you with expert appliance installation services.

From now on, all communication regarding your installation (scheduling, support, and inquiries) will be handled directly by our MasterPro team.

We will call you for 4-hour window on the day before your appointment.

Members from Mendocino County, San Luis Obispo County and Santa Barbara County, your appliance service will be done in 2 different appointments on the same day:

- 1st: Home Delivery will drop off the new unit;

- 2nd: MasterPro will arrive on a later time to install.

Your appointment includes: basic parts and basic installation.

Air Gap

A dishwasher air gap is mandatory per plumbing code in California. The installation can only proceed if one is present or if you have the necessary space to install one.

Removal of Old Unit

Water Valve

The water valve under your sink must be accessible,
rust-free, and not leaking. Please turn it off and check if the hot water is off. 


REMOVAL OF THE OLD LINE AND INSTALLING THE NEW HOSE​

REPLACE A DAMAGED / STUCK / RUSTED WATER VALVE

Electrical Outlet

By code, dishwashers cannot be hardwired. Please check if there is an available outlet for the unit to be plugged in. If the dishwasher uses a regular electrical outlet and it's accessible, no action needed.

IF THE OLD DISHWASHER IS HARDWIRED, A NEW GFCI OUTLET IS REQUIRED

Dimensions

The minimum space required for a dishwasher is 34" in height and 24" in width. 

Location in the Kitchen

If your dishwasher is located in the corner of your counter or if there are one or more cabinets between the dishwasher and the sink, additional parts may be required for installation. Please note that if the current setup was done in a way that hides hoses behind or under the cabinets, it is not allowed. Hoses and connections must be accessible and visible.

Ducting

If you have currently a range hood, the ducting might be different. And if this is a new home, you need to ask your contractor to leave the ducting ready, including the hold to connect the new microwave.
